This research project on fairness is based at the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics (EIPE) at the Erasmus School of Philosophy at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Meet the researchers:

Stefan Wintein

Stefan is an Assistant Professor in Theoretical Philosophy at the Erasmus School of Philosophy at Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He is also a member of the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics (EIPE).

Most of Stefan’s research can be categorized into three themes: Truth and Paradox, Many-valued logics and Fairness and Distributive Justice. On all three themes, he frequently publish in leading journals in analytic philosophy.

Conrad Heilmann

Conrad is an Associate Professor at the Erasmus School of Philosophy at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He is also a Co-Director of the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics (EIPE). He teaches courses in the Research Master in Philosophy and Economics, the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM), and the Part-time PhD programme in Management at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM).

Conrad’s research covers areas in philosophy of economics, in particular on fairness, behavioural economics, discounting, and measurement. He also has broader interests in the philosophy of science and social science as well as social and moral philosophy.
